What have you got to lose?

Our Western society encourages us to drink – at parties, at dinner, after work, watching sport, celebrating weddings, births, commemorating deaths… In fact, our society makes it challenging for someone to stop drinking.

For some who can safely take or leave one or two drinks this is well and good, but for others who can’t, this pressure can end in self-defeating chaos.

Rehabit coaching is for those women who want change their lifestyle by introducing new habits to replace old unhelpful ones.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand  I  am a She Recovers® Coach, which means that I am trained in and my work aligns with the She Recovers® Intentions & Guiding Principles. She Recovers® is an international movement of women in or seeking recovery from a wide variety of issues, including substance use issues, codependency, loss and other life challenges. She Recovers® creates welcoming spaces and transformative opportunities – online and in real life – to connect, support and empower recovering women.  I also have a full professional career behind me. I take all of this experience – coaching, career and world – and employ it in challenging, encouraging and cheerleading women who want to make healthy changes.

Is this  you?

If so contact me for a safe, confidential chat about how I can help you through the first few months of changing old patterns.

If you’re interested but unable to fill in the form just yet, that’s OK. The right time will come but in the meantime why don’t you follow our blog for some gentle (though challenging) advice and support.

We’ll still be here when you need us and you’re ready to make that first move into a brand new life.

Change is possible!

Last evening , cheering from the sidelines, we took part in a wonderful, colourful celebration down Ponsonby Rd. An exhilarating pageant honouring diversity and unconditional love, AKA the Ponsonby Pride Parade. The message was one of love, of acceptance, of diversity. The energy and joy was palpable! There in the midst of it, not on a …

What is Recovery?

Recovery is the process we go through as we make conscious decisions to leave behind behaviours and habits that are not healthy for us. About Me

“We are Stronger Together”

I am a She Recovers® Coach, which means that I am trained in and my work aligns with the She Recovers® Intentions & Guiding Principles. She Recovers® is an international movement of women in or seeking recovery from a wide variety of issues, including substance use issues, codependency, loss and other life challenges. She Recovers® creates welcoming spaces and transformative opportunities – online and in real life – to connect, support and empower recovering women.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, I am also a graduate of the  Professional Recovery Coach program through IAPRC at the NET Institute USA. This is alongside 20 years working as a career consultant/coach in a range of industries.

I am offering a  service for women who would like a coach/buddy to support them through those first tricky days, weeks or months of choosing  to  set up some new and healthy habits. I am not a therapist or an addiction specialist, just someone who has been through the process, and has experienced the super tricky bits of changing lifestyle habits. I enjoy supporting others trying to navigate their life without the support of a glass of wine at the end of the day or saying no to that extra piece of cake or whatever habit you are trying to break.

If you are considering your own relationship with alcohol, wanting to have some support through a period of abstinence or considering strategies around cutting down then I am here to help you.

There are free services available in NZ that give expert specialist care to alcohol dependant people. If this is  you then  call the Alcohol and Drug helpline 0800 787 798.
